About me
I’m Pranav, a final-year student at BITS Pilani, pursuing a five-year integrated course majoring in Biological Sciences and Mechanical Engineering. However, I don’t have as much interest in biology, engineering, or college.
I’m currently a PM at Pepper Content, building Peppertype.ai with a small team of 5 rockstar engineers and a fantastic designer.
What is Dots?
In an attempt to read and consume more (diversified) content, I started compiling and making my own notes1 about things that intrigue me.
For long, these links and A4s have existed on my Roam Research pages.
Now, I wish to put some of these out for anyone to consume and to socially commit to reading more. Hence, this Substack.
But why the name ‘Dots’?
Most of the decisions I’ve taken in my life like moving out of my hometown early, going to college in a remote town out in nowhere, making friends with people l did and joining Pepper in my sophomore year, I had no idea they would lead me to where I am today, but I’m glad they did.
As Steve Jobs said in his Stanford Commencement Address2, “It was impossible to connect these dots looking forward but it was very very clear to connect them looking backward.”
As a kid in 11th grade, this gave me goosebumps and since then, has given me the confidence to get through some tough times.
I’d be happy the day I make some friends and get recommendations from this place.
